CASE Your Fellow AECP Crafter

Hello and welcome to my blog! My name is Saundra and I am a cardmaker. I love to create and I hope you find a bit of inspiration while you are here.

CASE Your Fellow AECP Crafter

I am so excited to be participating in this wonder fun blog hop!

First, If you arrived her from Evette's Blog: Stamp the Fun UP, then I am so happy to have you!

All of the blog hop participants have either completed their Altenew Educator Certification Program or they are still working their way through it. I am still working my way through it.

We were all challenged to CASE one of our fellow AECP crafters.

Here are the cards I created:

Affiliate links have been used where applicable. It does not cost you extra when you click on them but I do get a small compensation.

I CASED this beautiful card created by Joy D'Souza from Handcrafted By Joy.

You can find all the details about her card in this Blog Post.

I was really inspired by her background.

To create my card I first took a panel of Distress Watercolor Cardstock and ink blended with Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide Ink. This is such a soft pretty pink and it was a great base for my other colors.

Next I took some ink daubers and randomly inked the small circular shape on the the panel. For this I used Altenew Crisp Inks in Coral Berry and Ruby Red and more of the Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide. I varied my pressure to get the look I was after.

Instead of using the whole panel for one card I decided to cut it so I could create two cards. This is great way to stretch your supplies and build your card stash. I wanted my cards to be similar but not exactly the same I adhered the background to my card panels in opposite directions.

The flowers I chose are from Altenew's Beautiful Day stamps. These are an older set but I just love them!

I stamped the flowers using Altenew's Crisp Inks in Frosty Pink and Coral Berry. The outline was stamped in Permanent Black. The leaves were stamped in Permanent Black and Lime Crisp Inks.

I used the Beautiful Day Dies to cut out my floral pieces and arranged them on my cards. I adhered them using some Lawn Fawn Glue Tube and foam adhesive

Just before gluing everything down I stamped my sentiments.

I really love how these cam out and I hope you do, too!

I have linked all of my supplies down below.

Now it's time to head on over to Michele's blog: Design's By Michi
