Hello and welcome to my blog! My name is Saundra and I am a cardmaker. I love to create and I hope you find a bit of inspiration while you are here.
Today I am excited to be participating in the The Creative Collectors TP Dragon Blog Hop. All of the creative collectors in the hop are featuring this cute dragon from Whimsy Stamps called TP Dudley and Sentiment.
If you have arrived from LeeAnn's blog: LeeAnn Gets Crafty, then you are in the right place. If you just happened to to be visiting my blog and would like to start from the beginning please head on over to Jill's blog: Killeen House Studio.
Isn't Dudley the cutest! I couldn't wait to color him up. I haven't colored with my Copic markers in quite a while and this reminded me how much I love to color.
With everything that is happening around the world I think this guy would bring a smile to anyone's face. He, along with this sentiment, make a perfect encouragement card.
To begin with, I printed Dudley and the sentiment on some Neenah Solar White cardstock and then printed him again and fussy cut him out.
I took the panel and used the MFT Mini Cloud Edges Stencil and some Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink with the SBC Ink Blending Tool to create the clouds in my background. I added some Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Ink to create the ground.
Once I was happy with my background I cut it out using a crazy stitched die from my stash and set it aside while I colored up Dudley.
I used my Copic markers to color him in. I added some sparkle to his tummy and horns using the SBC Glitter Brush Pen. I added him to my inked panel using some Lawn Fawn Glue Tube.
I adhered the panel to a card base and added some finishing touches by adding some doodles here and there with my black gel pen and by adding some Ranger Glossy Accents to Dudley's eyes.
TP Dudley is a free digital stamp that you can find on the Whimsy Stamps website. Go grab a copy and color him up!
I have added a list of Copic markers that a I used below:
Body: BV20, BV02, BV04, BV08
Belly/Horns: Y11, Y13, Y17
TP: C0, C1, C3, C5
Thank you so much for joining me today.
