SBC Cards For Kindness

Hello and welcome to my blog! My name is Saundra and I am a cardmaker. I love to create and I hope you find a bit of inspiration while you are here.

Today I am sharing a birthday card using the new Cards For Kindness Stamps from Scrapbook.com

Affiliate links have been used where applicable. It does not cost you extra when you click on them but I do get a small compensation.

The Cards for Kindness stamp set is filled with sentiments that are perfect for many occasions. I paired the Happy Birthday sentiment with SBC Mid-Century Florals to create this happy card.

The Mid-Century Floral stamp set is so cool! It comes with many different shapes that help to create a fun card. I used SBC Hybrid Inks int he following colors:

The Happy Birthday sentiment was stamped in SBC Black Hybrid Ink and then again with SBC Embossing Ink. I added some Ranger Clear Embossing Powder and heat set it. I also stamped the flower layer with the clear embossing ink and added embossing powder. I love the shine that it gave to these flowers!

Once I had my panel stamped I used a wonky stitched rectangle die and my Big Shot to cut out my panel. Unfortunately this die is no longer available.

I used SBC Clear Double Sided Adhesive Roll to attach my card panel to my card base.

To finish my card I added some Nuvo Crystal Drops in Bubblegum Blush and that was it!

The Cards for Kindness™ Stamp Set was created to bring awareness to a philanthropic effort that Scrapbook.com has been participating in locally where handmade cards are donated to hospitals, nursing homes, youth centers, crisis centers, treatment facilities and more.
The community in the Gilbert, AZ area has been making thoughtful, beautiful handmade cards and dropping them off at our offices to be packed and delivered to one of several good causes in the Valley of the Sun. But we need your help in expanding this effort to the rest of the world! If you're interested in creating and donating handmade cards, see here for more information.
Thank you for joining me today! I will see you soon!
