Hugs - SBC Cards For Kindness

Hello and welcome to my blog! My name is Saundra and I am a cardmaker. I love to create and I hope you find a bit of inspiration while you are here.

Today I am sharing another card using the new Cards For Kindness Stamps from Scrapbook.com

Affiliate links have been used where applicable. It does not cost you extra when you click on them but I do get a small compensation.

This card was so easy and fun to put together.

I started by using SBC Scattered Hearts Stencil and some SBC Mixed Berry Hybrid Ink.  I washed my stencil and applied it again and covered my hearts with Nuvo Glimmer Paste in Moonstone to give my hearts some sparkle.

While that was drying I applied some ink to some Neenah Solar White cardstock using the Mixed Berry Ink and the direct to paper technique. I gave a few moment to dry and when I was sure I added some anti-static powder so that I could heat emboss a sentiment from SBC Wordfetti: Best Day Ever stamp set. I used SBC Embossing Ink and Ranger Embossing Powder to heat emboss the sentiments.

Now that my stenciled panel is dry, I cut a heart from the middle with SBC Nested Scallops Hearts Dies to create a window for my inked panel.

Before attaching my stenciled panel to the inked panel I heat embossed a sentiment from the new SBC Cards For Kindness set onto some Lawn Fawn Vellum. I wrapped the strip around my card panel and attached it with some tape.

I added some SBC Double Sided Foam Dots to the back of my stenciled panel and attached it to the inked panel and then add more double sided adhesive and attached this to my Neenah Card Base.

For a finishing touch I added a few stamped hearts that I covered with SBC Glimmer Brush Marker using some Lawn Fawn Glue Tube.

I hope you have enjoyed the cards I have created with the new set.

Here is a little bit of information about SBC Cards For Kindness Program:

The Cards for Kindness™ Stamp Set was created to bring awareness to a philanthropic effort that Scrapbook.com has been participating in locally where handmade cards are donated to hospitals, nursing homes, youth centers, crisis centers, treatment facilities and more.
The community in the Gilbert, AZ area has been making thoughtful, beautiful handmade cards and dropping them off at our offices to be packed and delivered to one of several good causes in the Valley of the Sun. But we need your help in expanding this effort to the rest of the world! If you're interested in creating and donating handmade cards, see here for more information.
Thank you for joining me today! I will see you soon!
