Another edition on how I created Custom Journal Cards.
Hello and welcome to my blog! My name is Saundra and I am a cardmaker. I love to create and I hope you find a bit of inspiration while you are here.
Today I am sharing custom made journal cards using new products from Scrapbook.com
Affiliate links have been used where applicable. It does not cost you extra when you click on them but I do get a small compensation.
When I created these journal cards I was thinking about how I wanted to use them to tell a story. Since I am new to this kind of thing I thought about what I was taught in school. You can always start with these 5 things: Who, What, Where,When,Why, and How
So with that in mind I decided to create these cards using those words as my headers.
Of course, I knew that my Scrapbook.com supplies would work perfectly for this.
To get things started I cut some Neenah Solar White cardstock into 3x4 cards.
I used the Summer Group Hybrid Inks, SBC Teardrop Floral Stencil, and a SBC Ink Blending tool to create the gradient pattern on the bottom of the cards. These colors are just gorgeous and I love Scrapbook.com Hybrid Inks!
Once I was happy with the inking I moved on to stamping my titles onto each card.
I used the new SBC Solid Bold Caps Stamps and the same Summer Group Hybrid Inks. I just love how well these stamped. The colors are vibrant and the letters are so solid. These are definitely going to be my go-to letter stamps and would be the perfect staple in any craft room!
These cards are now ready for the perfect story in my memory keeping.
Be sure to check out Scrapbook.com throughout the month of February. There are many sales with Freebies and you don't want to miss out!

Until next time...
