Hello and welcome to my blog! My name is Saundra and I am a cardmaker. I love to create and hope you find a bit of inspiration while you are here.
Today I am sharing a super simple and relatively fast card.
( Affiliate links have been used where applicable. It does not cost you extra when you click on them but I do get a small compensation. )
This card was created with the a new cut file called My Whole Heart from Scrapbook .com. This is a brand new file filled with easy card designs, scrapbook layout designs, and planner pages.
As I said, I kept my card simple and used one of the card cut files. I cut my front panel from Lawn Fawn Ground Coffee Cardstock using the card cut file and my Silhouette Cameo.
Once my card from was cut I ran it through my Big Shot with an old embossing folder to give the panel some texture. I set that aside and moved on to some ink blending.
I used a piece of Neenah Solar White Cardstock and ink blended my background with some Distress Oxide inks in the following colors: Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstick, Abandoned Coral, Candied Apple, Aged Mahogany
I attached my blended background to my embossed card panel with some Clear Double Sided Adhesive. I added a piece of Brown Baker's Twine and tied it in a bow.
For a little more dimension I added a piece of craft foam to the back of the panel with the same adhesive and added the panel to the card base.
For a bit of sparkle I added some Clear Wink of Stella to my letters. That is hard to see in the phots but I promise it is there!
Here's a look at the new My Whole Heart cut file from Scrapbook .com
