A masculine card made with simple inking techniques allowed this design come to life.
Hello and welcome to my blog! My name is Saundra and I am a cardmaker. I love to create and hope you find a bit of inspiration while you are here.
Although I intended this card to be for a masculine person it could easily be tweaked to give it a more feminine flair.

Here is a list of supplies used to create this card:
Classy Stripes Stencil (ALT)
Inks:
To begin I created a background using the Classy Stripes Stencil and Arctic ink. I wanted to keep the center light so I began inking at the edges and lightened the pressure as I went towards the center.
I used my favorite Leaf Canopy stamps with Firebrick and Olive Ink. The ink was applied randomly on the stamp and spritzed with clear water then stamped onto the cardstock. I repeated this step until I was happy with the color. I really love the texture that was achieved.
The leaves were die cut with the Leaf Copy Dies and mounted onto my stenciled background with a combination of glue and foam adhesive.
Finally, the sentiment was stamped from the Painted Greetings stamps and heat embossed.
The only embellishment needed was some splatter from Altenew Jet Black Ink Spray and my card is finished!
So, what do you think? Would you give this card to your favorite masculine friend?
Thanks for joining me today!
