Just For Ewe

February 22, 2019 0 Comments
Hello Friends and Welcome to my blog!

Today I am sharing another look at Craftin Desert Divas Wooly Lambs stamps.

These images are so sweet! I could not wait to use them again.

To begin I started with a panel of Strathmore Bristol Smooth Cardstock and used the CDD Hill Scene 2 Stencil with some Shaded Lilac Distress Ink to create my clouds. I let that dry for a few moments then used CDD Blooming Tree Stencil along with some Distress Inks in Tea Dye and Twisted Citron to create some tree branches. To give the leaves a little more depth I colored the leaves with Copic Markers.

To the bottom of the panel I added some grass die-cut from CDD Outdoor Landscape 2 Dies and used Twisted Citron and Lucky Clover Distress Ink to give it some color. The fence, also from CDD Outdoor Landscape 2 Dies, was cut three times and glued together for a bit of dimension and add to the scene. This panel was then added to a card base of Neenah Classic Crest 110# cardstock.

For my images I first cut the shapes using my Silhouette Cameo and CDD Wooly Lambs SVGs. I stamped the images from the Wooly Lambs stamps and colored them with Copic Markers. Before adding them to my panel I stamped my sentiment and colored it in with Copic Markers.

I popped up the little lamb and butterfly with some foam squares and the card is complete!

All the products I used today are linked.

Eastercorn Wishes! ~ Craftin Desert Divas

February 20, 2019 0 Comments
Hello Friends! Welcome to my blog!

Today I sharing card featuring Craftin Desert Divas new Eastercorn Stamps and the new Sorted Shapes 3 Stencil.

To begin, I started with a piece of Strathmore Bristol Smooth cardstock, some Distress Oxide Inks, and CDD Hill Scene 2 Stencil to create some clouds. I was in the mood for some color so I used several Distress Oxide Inks to create my rainbow clouds. The colors I used are Picked Raspberry, Carved Pumpkin, Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron, Peacock Feathers, Salty Ocean, and Wilted Violet.  I let it dry for a bit and ran this panel through my Big Shot with the CDD Crazy Stitched Frames Dies. I really love this die and its stitched detail.

Next I took the new CDD Sorted Shapes 3 Stencil and some Nuvo Glimmer Paste in Moonstone and added some random hearts to my background. I set this aside to dry and went on to do some stamping coloring.

Before stamping and coloring I cut out my images with the Easterncorn Outline SVG with my Silhouette Cameo. I stamped the new CDD Eastercorn stamps and colored the cute unicorn and birdie with my Copic Markers. For some detail I added a few highlights with a white gel pen

Now that everything was dried it was time to assemble my card. I started with some Neenah Solar White 110# cardstock to create my card base. I layered my die-cut panel on top and stamped my sentiment from the new Eastercorn stamps with some Black Gina K Amalgam Ink. I popped up my images with some foam squares. To bring this up to another level I added some Ranger Glossy Accents to the balloons for some added shine.

These stamps and dies are available for purchase in the CDD Shop.

Now through February 24, 2019 you can can receive an Exclusive Mini Stamp FREE with a $40.00 Purchase before shipping.

Be Mine ~ Craftin Desert Divas February Release

February 17, 2019 0 Comments
Hello Friends! Welcome to my blog!

Today's card features the new Heart Mandala Die from Craftin Desert Divas.

This die is absolutely beautiful and I kept my card pretty simple to let this die shine.

I die-cut the Heart Mandala Die in the center of some Neenah Classic Crest 110# cardstock and then die-cut it again with the CDD Fancy Frames Dies. I ink-blended this panel with Tattered Rose and Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide Inks and set it aside.

I took another panel of cardstock and ink blended it with some Abandoned Coral and Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide Inks. This panel was layered under my die-cut panel and I white heat embossed a sentiment in the center. The sentiment is from an older CDD stamp set that is no longer available.

Now it was time to build the card bu I felt I needed my card base ink-blended, as well. I used the same Distress Oxide Inks in Tattered Rose and Worn Lipstick. To my card base I added a a layer from velum, my ink-blended layer that goes behind the die-cut panel and then by die-cut panel.

I could have called it complete at this point but I decided to add once more finishing touch with some Strawberry Coulis Nuvo Jewel Drops.

The full February Release, including the Heart Mandala Die, is now available in the CDD SHOP.

Thank Ewe ! Craftin Desert Divas February Release

Hello Friends!

Today's card features the new Craftin Desert Divas Wooly Lambs Stamps and Sorted Shapes 3 Stencil.

The new Wooly Stamps are so cute! I cannot get over it! I had a lot of fun coloring this image and really love that I was able to achieve this much texture with Copic Markers and a white gel pen.

I popped this sweet lamb up with some foam squares onto a background panel that was cut with CDD Fancy Frames Dies. The create the background I masked off the edges of the card so that I only had a circle shape in the middle. I used CDD Hill Scene 2 Stencil with some Distress Oxide Inks in Mowed Lawn and Worn Lipstick to created my grassy hill and sky. With the mask still on I used the new Sorted Shapes 3 Stencil and some Nuvo Glimmer Paste in Moonstone to add some shimmery hearts in the sky.

While that was drying I took a piece of pink cardstock and prepared it to mat under my die-cut panel. The color wasn't quite right so I used my blending brush and the Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide to get a better match. I added the panel to my card base of Neenah Classic Crest Cardstock and added craft foam to my background panel.

I stamped my sentiment with a little Shaded Lilac and Faded Jeans Distress Oxide Inks for a bit of gradients and popped my little lamb onto the card. I love the subtle shimmer of the glitter paste and this sweet image will make anyone smile.

Only a few more days until the full reveal and all of the new products will be in the CDD shop!

AND, Check out this cute little freebie that come with any $40.00 purchase!

Thanks for stopping by. I will be back soon with another project!

Always Be Yourself Unless...

February 12, 2019 0 Comments
Hell0 Friends! Welcome!!

Today I am sharing card featuring products from Craftin Desert Divas.

I really love the way this card came together!

To create this card I started with a piece of Neenah Solar White 110# Cardstock, CDD Polygon Stencil and Distress Oxide Inks in Spun Sugar and Picked Raspberry. I blended the ink onto my cardstock until I achieved the look I was going for. I splattered a few water droplets on to the cardstock and picked it up with a cloth and then sprayed it with some Iridescent Glitter Dust Spray. Once everything was dry I cut my panel at an angle and layered it on a piece black cardstock and added it to my card base,

My sentiment and image is from CDD Panda-bilities Stamps. I cut the panda using the co-ordinating SVG and stamped him with my Misti stamping tool.  I colored the cute little pandas and balloons with Copic Markers.

I stamped my sentiment with Versa Fine Onyx Black in and added clear embossing powder and heat set it. I added my little panda and popped him with some foam squares. I added some Ranger Glossy Accents to the ballon and the panda's eyes and for a finishing touch I scattered some CDD Lollipop Sequins to the card.

That's it for today's card! I appreciate you stopping by.

Easter Wishes ~ Craftin Desert Divas February Release

February 10, 2019 0 Comments
Hello and welcome to my blog!

Today I am sharing a look at the new Craftin Desert Divas Eastercorn Stamp set.

It is another take on the cute little unicorns that you have come to know from CDD.

For my card today, I started with a piece of Distress Watercolor Cardstock and Mijello Mission Gold Watercolors and created a fun rainbow-colored background. I am still learning about this coloring medium so backgrounds may be what I play with for a while.

I applied a few layers of color allowing them to dry between. Once I was happy with the final layer I allowed it to dry them splattered it with more water color.  I set that aside to dry completely and proceeded to color my images.

I used the coordinating SVG my Silhouette Cameo to cut out my shadowed layer of the images and them stamped the images on top.

I colored the little unicorn and bird friends with Copic Markers and added a little bit of sparkle to the images with a glitter pen.

Now that the background piece was dry I ran it through my Big Shot with the CDD Fancy Frames Die. I added some craft foam to the back and popped it up onto my card base.

I stamped my sentiment from the new Eastercorn stamps and popped up the Wishes sentiment with foam squares. I added the images to card and popped them up, as well.

To finish my card I added a few sequins from CDD's Pastel Paradise Sequins and Pizazz Sequins.

These stamps will be available for purchase February 15, 2019. You can find them in the CDD Shop.
