Peace and Joy with Craftin Desert Divas

October 29, 2018 0 Comments
Hello friends,

Today my card features the new Craftin Desert Divas October release products with some ink blending and coloring with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens.

I first stamped the image from CDD Merry Florals onto some Bristol Smooth card stock. I heat embossed my image with some Hero Arts White Embossing powder and colored the image in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers. Once I was happy with the image I fussy cut it and put it aside.

I took another piece of the Bristol Smooth card stock and ink blended it with some Distress Oxide Inks in Twisted Citron and Pealed Paint. To add more interest I sprinkled the panel with some water droplets and picked it up with a paper towel.

Once dry, I stamped the panel with a sentiment from CDD Seasonal Wreaths. I love these beautiful font font his set and it first perfectly on this card.

To create a window I took a die from CDD Inside Scalloped Octagon and ran it through my Big Shot.   I ran the die once again with some scrap card stock so that I could stack up a few frames around my sentiment. I then die-cut my panel with CDD Crazy Stitched Frames

I layered all of my panels together and stacked the octagon frames onto some Bazzil Easter Grass card base. I popped my image up with some foam squares and added a little Clear Wink of Stella to my poinsettia. To give the card just a little bit extra oomph I added some Nuvo Crystal Drops in Morning Dew in random spots around my sentiment.

Here is a little color guide for my image.

Thanks for stopping by today. I'll be back soon with another card.

Tis the Season ~ Craftin Desert Divas October Sneak

October 21, 2018 0 Comments
Hello and welcome to my blog!

Today I am sharing a sneak peek at Crafting Desert Divas Seasonal Wreaths.

This stamp set is filled with beautifully written sentiments and 2 wreaths ready for the holiday season.

For this card I only used the CDD Seasonal Wreaths stamps and a few supplies.

The card base, wreath, and sentiment were heat embossed with Ranger Embossing Powder in Gold.

I used a piece of vellum for the sentiment and colored in all the wreath elements with colored pencils. I fussy-cut the wreath and popped it up on the card base. For a bit more dimension, I added some Nuvo Crystal Drops in Morning Dew.

I hope you have joined the Craftin Desert Divas Facebook Gallery. The design team is sharing all of their creations with today's featured stamps. Be sure to check it out.

Mark you calendar! The new Seasonal Wreath stamps will be available October 23. You can find the shop HERE.

Christmas Wishes - Craftin Desert Divas October Sneak Peek

October 20, 2018 1 Comments
Hello Friends!

It's that time again! Time to share a sneak peek of Craftin Desert Divas new October release products.

Today the design team is sharing peeks of the new Merry Florals stamps. This is such a gorgeous set and one that I will be reaching fo this holiday season.

I kept this card pretty simple but I think it turned out beautiful

I colored the gorgeous poinsettia image with my Copic markers and fussy-cut it out.

The card base was layered with some patterned paper that I die-cut with CDD Fancy Frames. I heat-embossed the sentiment, also found in the Merry Florals set, with black embossing powder and stamped the rest of the sentiment with Momento ink onto a die-cut from CDD Pocket Pieces Hello Dies.

I popped everything up and added some Nuvo Glitter Gloss Aqua Shimmer Pen to the flowers and Nuvo Crystal Drops in Morning Dew to the berries.

The new products will be available in the CDD Shop on October 23.

There is plenty of sneak peeks to see. Be sure to head on over the Craftin Desert Divas Facebook Gallery to play along in games and to see all the fabulous projects the design team is creating.

No Tricking ~ with Craftin Desert Divas

October 06, 2018 0 Comments

Hello Creative Friends!

Happy World Card Making Day!

Today I am sharing a cute Halloween card comprised of products that can be found at Craftin Desert Divas.

I colored up this cute image with Copic markers and fussy-cut it out.

I don't know about you but I have a lot of patterned paper in my stash and It will take me years to use it all up so instead of doing some ink blending I used my dies and patterned paper.

I started with a black card base and layered it with white and a strip of green patterned paper that I die-cut with CDD Crazy Stitched Frames Die. Next I used CDD Pocket Pieces Hello Dies to cut my star patterned papers and I layered them on top.

The sentiment is from the same Ghostly Good Time Stamps and I heat embossed it with some Ranger Embossing Powder in Lime. I really like that it matches my patterned paper and it looks so cool on the black card stock. I die-cut it with CDD Flag Banner Dies. Before I attached it to my card I ties a piece of purple Baker's Twine around it and tied a bow. I pooped up my sentiment and image and completed my card.

Have a wonderful day and I hope you are able to find a moment to get your crafty supplies out and play a little today!
