Today I am sharing a look at the new Craftin Desert Divas Mermaid Tail Dies.

This die is so unique and can only be found at Craftin Desert Divas.

I paired the die with an older CDD stamp set called Magical Wishes. I really love the mermaid on this set and knew she would be perfect for my card.

I started by preparing a panel of Yupo paper with alcohol inks. I used 3 colors from Ranger: Wild Plum, Turquoise, and Egg Plant. I let that dry and ran some of this pretty purple metallic cardstock through my Big Shot with the new Mermaid Tail Die. This die is great for a shaker card but it does not cut around the edge. I just fussy-cut the tail out of the cardstock and adhered it to my Yupo paper, then fussy -cut it again. (Note: Since this card has been made Craftin Desert Divas has come out with an SVG file that will cut out the tail with an electronic die cutting machine. You can fin the SVG HERE.)

Once the tail was completed I set it aside and inked up a panel with some Distress Oxide ink to create the sky. I used Fossilized Amber and Broken China being careful not to get to close to each other and create green. Once the panel was inked I die cut it with CDD Crazy Stitched Frames Dies.

For the ocean waves I used CDD Outdoor Landscape 2 Dies inked them with Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide ink. I added my tail to the background and adhered the waves on top. 

My little mermaid and her accessories were colored with Copic markers and a little Clear Wink of Stella was added to her tail and seashells.

I have her resting on the an island that was die-cut from CDD Island Dies.

I added a sentiment from CDD Magical Wishes stamps and added some Nuvo Jewel Drops in Sea Breeze to complete the card.

Today I am sharing this beach scene card I created with the new Craftin Desert Divas Waving Hello Stamps and Beach Scene Dies.

The mice from the new Waving Hello Stamps are so fun and they are really enjoying the beach!

I stated by creating a background for my card using Distress Oxide Inks in Mermaid Lagoon and Broken China. I created a stencil with CDD Outside Landscape 2 Dies and alternated with my two colors of Oxide ink to create the ocean. I added some white foam using my white gel pen. The background was cut out with CDD Crazy Stitched Frames Dies.

I added the sam to my beach using the new CDD Beach Scene Dies along with CDD Island Dies . I added the beach umbrella and my little mouse. These were colored with Copic markers. I gave the sunglasses some shine with Ranger Glossy Accents. This little guy certainly looks like he is enjoying the beach!

No beach scene would be complete with a sand castle. I cut this out using the new Beach Scene Dies and added some Copic marker details.  To finish this card I added a sentiment from an older CDD stamp set that is no longer available.

Today I am back to share another look at the new Craftin Desert Diva Kindness Stamps and Mermaid Tail Dies from the May Release.

I created a a faux cover plate background using the new CDD Mermaid Tail Dies.

Today I am sharing a look at Craftin Desert Divas Kindness Stamps.

The kindness stamps features this beautiful bouquet of flowers, a few little mini stems, and several sentiments.

To create this card I started by inking up 2 pieces of cardstock with Distress Oxide Ink in Tattered Rose and Abandoned Coral. These 2 colors blend beautifully together. I added a few droplets of water and picked up the ink with a paper towel. I cut one of the panels with CDD Fancy Frames Dies and the other with CDD Inside Scalloped Octagon Dies. 

I heat embossed my sentiment from CDD Wishful Thoughts Stamps then added my panel to my card base. The octagon was then popped up with some foam tape to frame the sentiment.

The flowers from CDD Kindness Stamps were colored with Copic markers and fussy-cut. I popped them up with some foam tape. A few drops of Nuvo Jewel Drops in Rosewater were the perfect finishing touch.

I am back today with another card featuring Craftin Desert Divas Waving Hello Stamps.

These little mice are the cutest!

To create this card I first stamped and colored my mice with Copic markers and fussy-cut them out.

I created a background by fist inking some cardstock with Peacock Feathers and Antique Linen Ranger Distress Ink. After blending I spritz the cardstock with some water and let it set for a bit before lifting the ink with a paper towel.

I used CDD Fancy Frames Dies and CDD Picture Frames Dies to give the background a little interest.

I added my cute little beach mice and added a sentiment from the new CDD Waving Hello Stamps.

To finish things off I added a few highlights with my white gel pen,  some  Clear Wink of Stella to the ice cream,  and a little Ranger Glossy Accents to the cherry and inter tube.

These new stamps will be available in the CDD Shop on Friday, May 11th.

The week I will be sharing a peek at the May Release from Craftin Desert Divas and, let me tell you, it is fabulous!

Today I am sharing card that features the new Waving Hello Stamps, Beach Scene Dies, and Beach Scene Stencil.

There are so many fun images in this stamp set. I just love these cute little mice images.

For this card I started by creating a background.  I created the background with some Distress Oxide Inks to create the summer sky and beautiful blue ocean. The I colored I used were Fossilized Amber, Squeezed Lemonade, Broken China, and Mermaid Lagoon. Once I was happy with my background I used the new Beach Scene Stencil to add some details: sun and seagulls.

On my background I layered a sandy beach and some palm trees from the new Beach Scene Dies. The palm trees were colored with Copic markers.

I used Craftin Desert Divas Stitched in Circles Dies to create a window in a panel from some pattern cardstock. I created the scallop edge using CDD Fancy Frames Dies. I popped the panel up with some foam tape over the beach background.

With the scene set I added my image. This is just one of several images found in the Waving Hello Stamp set. I colored her with Copic markers and added some detail with a white gel pen. I, then, added her to the scene.

I stamped a sentiment that is included in the Waving Hello stamp and my card was complete.
