I Can't Even

April 30, 2018 0 Comments

Hello there and welcome to my blog!

Today I am sharing this cute one layer card feature Craftin Desert Divas "I Can't Even" Digital Stamp.

This little image is adorable and I had so much fun Creating this one layer card.

The products I used all came from Craftin Desert Divas.

For my background I used Distress Oxide Inks in Cracked Pistachio, Hickory Smoke, and Squeezed Lemonade. The Sorted Shapes One Stencil was perfect to create the wallpaper affect I wanted in the background.

I colored the image with Copic markers and when completed I die-cut my panel with CDD Crazy Stitched Frames Dies. I kept it simple and mounted my panel onto an A2 sized card base.

Hello Beautiful Copic Card ~ Craftin Desert Divas Release

April 19, 2018 0 Comments
Hello and welcome to my blog!

Today I am sharing one more card featuring the new Hello Beautiful Stamps and Hello Beautiful Die from Craftin Desert Divas.

I am absolutely in love with the way this card came together.

I started of with some Nina Desert Storm cardstock and began stamping my floral images from the Hello Beautiful Stamps around the edges of my panel. I used some Momento London Fog Ink so that I would have a no-line look to my card.

Once everything was stamped I colored in my flowers with Copic markers and used some Prisma Colored Pencils to add some depth and highlights. I think it added to the look I was going for nicely.

When I was completely happy with the coloring I die-cut my panel with CDD Fancey Frames Dies. It really is one of my most used frame dies. I love that scalloped edge.

For my sentiment, I centered it on my panel in just the place I wanted it and die-cut it so the I would have a place to lay in my die cut sentiment later. I took another piece of my Nina Desert Storm Cardstock and colored it with my Copic markers blending it for an Hombre look. I used the Hello Beautiful Die to cut the sentiment I was going to use on my card from my Hombre piece.

Note: I really had trouble getting my Hombre piece of cardstock out of this die and the reason for this is that I did not give my Copic coloring enough time to dry. So, if you try this be sure to give your cardstock a sufficient time to dry.

Once I had all of my pieces cut out I slipped them back into place on the die-cut panel and added a little tape on the back to secure them. I added some Fun Foam on the back of my panel and popped it up onto my card base.

A few details I added: some white gel pen to the center of my big flower on the left in the photo, some Clear Wink of Stella to the sentiment, and some Purple Stickles around my flowers.

This has been one of my favorite stamp sets from this release. I hope you have enjoyed these cards over the last few days.

Be sure to check out the full release in the Craftin Desert Divas Shop.

Hello Beautiful Trio ~ Craftin Desert Divas Release

April 18, 2018 1 Comments
Hello and welcome back to my blog!

Today I am sharing a trio of thank you cards created with Craftin Desert Divas new Hello Beautiful stamp set.

The floral images in this set are beautiful!

For each of these card I started by stenciling the background with CDD Sorted Shapes Stencil 2 and Ranger Texture Paste. I mixed the texture paste with some Distress Oxide Ink to get the various colors and used the same Oxide Ink for the edges of my card panel. I added some drops of water to get the oxide look that we love from these inks.

Once my stenciled shapes had dried I found some Copic markers that would match and proceeded to color my flowers.

Here is a closer look of each card.

For the first one I used Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide Ink.

And this last one is done in Shaded Lilac Distress Oxide Ink.

I added sequins to each card a thin strip of black cardstock down the side.

The new Hello Beautiful stamp are available in the CDD Shop now. Hurry to get yours before they are gone!

Hello Beautiful ~ Craftin Desert Divas April Sneak Peek

April 10, 2018 1 Comments

I am back with another look at the new Craftin Desert Divas Hello Beautiful stamps.

As I said before these stamps are gorgeous!

I could not wait to try embossing the floral images and watercoloring with my Distress Oxide Inks.

I used gold embossing powder to emboss my images and used Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide for the flowers.  The leaves were colored in with Lucky Clover Distress Oxide Ink. I fussy cut the images  and added them to a panel that I die cut with CDD Crazy Stitched Frames Dies. Before adding my flowers, I heat embossed my sentiment that is included in the Hello Beautiful stamp set. I, also, added some gold embossing to edges of my panel and splattered the background with some more Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Ink.

My images were arranged and popped up around my sentiment. I finish the card off with some well placed gold seed beads I've had in my stash forever.

I just adore this card!

All the new stamps and dies will be available this Friday, April 13 in the CDD Shop.

Be sure to join us on the event page on Facebook. There you will have chances to win some great prizes and see even more inspiration!

Floral Thank You ~ Craftin Desert Divas April Sneak Peek

April 10, 2018 0 Comments

Today I am excited to share the new beautiful floral set from Craftin Desert Divas called Hello Beautiful.

This floral set is gorgeous! For my card I stamped one of the images twice to form a floral ring onto watercolor cardstock.

I colored the images in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens and and accented the flowers with some white gel pen accents. I add the thank you sentiment that comes with the Hello Beautiful stamps to the center. The panel was then die cut with CDD Fancy Frames Dies and added to a black piece of cardstock and mounted on a white card base. The fishing touch is a few clear sparkling sequins because I just HAD to add sequins!!

All of the new stamps and dies will be available on Friday, April 13th!
