Hello! I hope you all had a relaxing weekend!

These images are so cute. they just beg to be colored.

I kept things pretty simple with this card. I started with my card base and cut it with CDD Fancy frames Dies. I added color with Distress Oxide Inks and the new CDD Sorted Shapes 2 Stencil. I used Twisted Citron, Picked Raspberry, and Salty Ocean.

I water-colored my images from the CDD Jellybean Kisses Stamps with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens. A few polkadots were added the my little girls dress with a white gel pen.

I centered my sentiment, included in the Jellybean Kisses stamps, and declared it done!

Hoppy Easter ~ Craftin Desert Divas February Release

February 18, 2018 0 Comments

Happy Sunday, Friends!

Today I have another card from Craftin Desert Divas new Jellybean Kisses Stamps.

This little girl in the carrot card is the cutest so I had to play with her again!

This time I colored her up with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens.

My card base was cut with the CDD Fancy Frames Dies and the I had a little fun with the center.  I used CDD Inside Scallop Square Dies to cut out the center. With the center piece I used CDD Garden Border Dies to cut out all of my carrots. I put all the pieces back inside the frame and added an ink blended background. I believe I used Spiced Marmalade and Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide Inks.

I popped my little girl up on some pop dots and added a sentiment from CDD Happy Celebrations Stamps (no longer available). To finish it all of I added a bow from CDD Shaker Tag Dies. I inked it up with some Carved Pumpkin Distress Oxide Ink to make it match the colors in the card. For at the center I added a gem from my stash.

There is still time to get in on the Craftin Desert Divas Sale

Head on over to the CDD Shop!

Wish Big

February 15, 2018 0 Comments

Hello everyone!

Today I am sharing a super quick card created with  Distress Oxide Inks, stamps, and dies. All the products will be listed in the order used.

For this card I stated with a white base. I used Craftin Desert Divas Across the Border stamps and stamped what is supposed to look like streamers across that top. I heat embossed it in white embossing powder.

After everting was set I taped off the bottom of my card and used Distress Oxide Inks in the following colors: Peacock Feathers, Salty Ocean, Blueprint SketchWilted Violet, and Shaded Lilac. I blended these inks together to created a bit of a rainbow effect but only with the cool colors of the rainbow.

Once I was please with all of the blending. I used CDD Stitched Alpha Dies to cut out the work WISH from my panel, as well as, several more layers from white card stock. I used the CDD Wishful Thoughts Dies and cut the word big from black cardstok and several white layers, as well. The layers were glued altogether.

I ran my background panel through my Bigshot with CDD Crazy Stitched Frames Dies and layered it onto the black card base.

The card is almost complete. I added the die cut letters back into the panel. I put my die cut Big in place and added a few Pretty Pink Posh Clear sequins to finish of my card.

There are still a few more says to get 15% off in the Craftin Desert Divas shop! Go pick up your favorites soon before it is too late!

Fluttering By... ~ Craftin Desert Divas February Release

February 10, 2018 0 Comments

Hello there!

I am back to share another look at the new Gnomie Stamps and the new Stitched Alpha Dies from Craftin Desert Divas.

This card has got to be one of my all time favorites! I just loved putting this one together!

For this card I started with a base that I die cut with the CDD Crazy Stitched Frames Dies. I stamped and masked stamps from the CDD Busy Bees Stamps and the Whimsical Wishes Stamps along the bottom of my panel. I stamped this darling little girl gnome from the new Gnomie Stamps on a separate piece of Copic friendly paper. All of the images were colored with Copic markers.

Once I was happy with the coloring, I used a stencil that I created from the CDD Stitched Scallop Dies and inked my sky with Distress Oxide Inks in Salty Ocean, Broken China, and Wilted Violet. To one corner I added some Fossilized Amber and Spiced Marmalade. I added a few water droplets and soaked them with my paper towel to create a little texture.

With everything colored it was now time to use the new Stitched Alpha Dies. I die cut several pieces of white cardstock and them I cut the word Hi from my colored panel. I stacked all of the my white pieces first and glued them together. I glued my panel to my card base and added the letters to the opening I had from die cutting the letters. Finally I added my colored pieces on top. This created some dimension and it looks awesome in real life.

I stamped a sentiment from a retired CDD stamp set that is no longer available. It just worked with this card so I decided to use it. Finally it was time to add my little flying gnome from the new Gnomie Stamps. I popped her up on the card with some foam tape.

I hope you adore this card as much as I do!

Be sure to check out the Craftin Desert Divas Sale that is going on right now!

Easter Wishes ~ Craftin Desert Divas February Release

February 09, 2018 0 Comments

Yay! It Friday! Today is the day that the new Craftin Desert Divas products will be in the the CDD Shop! If you h ave been following on Facebook then you know all the cuteness that is in this release.

Today I am sharing 2 cards with the new Jelly Bean Kisses Stamps.

My first project is a set of gift cards.

I had a different plan in mind when I started coloring these girls in their carrot cars but ended up changing it. So, I colored three girls with Copic markers and mounted them with foam tape on my prepared card base.

My card base measures 2.75 x 3 inches. I added a layer of white the I cut from CDD Fancy Frame Dies. I got my Distress Oxide Inks out and the new Sorted Shapes 2 Stencil and inked up the background. I was able to find inks that matched the girls hair, which I thought was fun! I used Mermaid Lagoon, Wilted Violet, and Worn Lipstick.

I added some twine from my stash and stamped my sentiment, included in the set.

For my next project I created a scene.

There are quite a few layers here so I will start from the base. My base is a standard A2 sized card, I inked it with some Distress Oxide ink in Peacock Feathers and a stencil I created using CDD Stitched Scallop Dies.

Next I added the tree from the CDD Scenery Dies. I added some Copic marker to the leaves for a little definition. The next layer is the picket fence  and grass from the Outdoor Landscape 2 Dies.

To create my garden, I used the CDD Garden Border Dies.  I used 2 layers and added all of the carrots and plants I could fit. I cut those out in white cardstock and colored them with Copic markers.

My little sign is hand lettered. What is a carrot patch without a few bunnies?! I had to add these darling bunnies from the new Jelly Bean Kisses stamps. they are the perfect size for this garden and they are so cute. Copic markers were used to give them a little color, as well.

This is the ;last day of the sneak peeks. All of the new products can be found in the CDD Shop later today! So get your list ready!!

Look Who's Turning.. ~ Crafting Desert Divas February Release

February 06, 2018 0 Comments

Hi there! I am back with a mother look at the new Craftin Desert Divas February Release!

Today I am showcasing the new Stitched Number Dies.

This card was super fast and easy to put together! And, BONUS! It can be used for a guy or girl!!

Here's how I put it together:

First I cut a panel with CDD Fancy Frames Dies. I arranged the new Stitched Number Dies on my panel and ran that through my Big Shot. I had to do several passes to get all of the numbers I wanted. Be sure to save the little inner pieces so that you can add them to your card later. Before I ran all of my numbers through my Big Shot I cut a circle from my panel with the CDD Inside Scalloped Circle Dies to create a window for my number 50.

I took another panel and inked it up with some Distress Oxide Inks in Peacock Feathers and Cracked Pistachio. I love this color combo!!

I began layering everything together. This is where you will want to add the little inside pieces to your numbers. I cut the number 50 out the the Stitched Number Dies a few times on white and once in black cardstock. I layered these on top of one another, off-setting the black numbers a bit. I then added them to my card.

My sentiment comes from CDD All Aboard Stamps. I heat embossed it on black cardstock and cut it out with the speech bubble die from the CDD Mix It Up Dies. It was popped up with some foam tape. A few clear sequins finished off my card.

There is still time to join us for prizes and more sneak peeks on Facebook. Click HERE to see what all the chatter is about!

Thinking of You ~ CDD February Release

February 05, 2018 1 Comments

Hello and Welcome to my blog!

Today begins a week of sneak peeks for Craftin Desert Divas February Release.

Today I am sharing a card I created from the new Gnomie stamps.

This card came out better than I had imagined and I hope you like it as much as I do!

I just love this mushroom house from the new Gnomie stamps! I thought it would be nice to have it framed. I stated with a panel that I die cut with CDD Fancy Frames Dies. I used the Inside Scalloped Square Dies to cut my opening.  The panel was embossed with an old embossing folder from my stash. I love the texture it gives this card.

I colored all of my images with Copic markers and began arranging all of my elements. I added the flowers and leaves from the Inside Scalloped Circles dies. These I cut out of white cardstock and colored them with Copic markers to match.

Once I had everything arranged and glued down, I felt the card needed a little something. I decided some white splatters would do the trick. It was the perfect touch!

I heat embossed a sentiment from CDD This & That stamps and fussy cut them and added them to the card.

Be sure to check out the Craftin desert Divas Event Page for this release!
